Are you having a problem with excessive night sweating? Many people have this problem, some of them to an great degree, others just sweat at night. While the problem may not be as much of a social issue as other forms of Hyperhidrosis (profuse sweating) it can still cause quite a problem and can be an inconvenience to say the least. But first, lets find out what Hyperhidrosis is and how it shows itself, perhaps then you would be able to tell if your problem is caused by this or if it is just night sweats.

Hyperhidrosis is a medical problem in which the sweat glands of an individual are over active. This usually shows itself in the main sweat areas, such as the palms, on the head and fact, under the arms and at times even over the whole body. Many times this problem of Hyperhidrosis shows itself after some mild exertion, or it could be, in more extreme cases, a problem that is always present. If this sounds like something that fits in with your description there are some things to help.

Of course, just the simple fact that you have a problem with excessive sweating at night could be a sign that you have a problem and the same solutions that help those with Hyperhidrosis could help you. There is no end to the sprays and creams that are available, both on a prescription basis and over the counter at the drug stores. The only problem with these is that they don't ever work worth a lick, and can even cause more problems from side effects than the sweating causes you in the first place.

If you want actual relief from your sweating problems then you should try treating it naturally. There are plenty of natural cures out there that can help you to treat the sweating problem at the source and not only remove the outward sign of the problem. So if sweating is a problem for you, try to cure it naturally.

    Dealing With Excessive Sweating

Dealing with excessive sweating can be absolutely dreadful. It's a sensitive subject for anyone who has it. The people that do have it are constantly paranoid that a wrong move could cost them some serious embarrassment, not to mention their hygienic reputation. The people that have lived with this know how huge of a problem it can be.

Many mornings in high school, I remember waking up and folding toilet paper into pads. I would tuck them under my arms after putting my shirt on just to get through the drive to school! I would run to my locker, put my bags away, and go straight to the bathroom. There, I had to put hurry and put dry ones in again.

On average, I went through about five to seven pairs of these makeshift pads daily. It was awful. I had to make sure that I never raised my arms too high, or I would be exposed. It made me depressed, socially nervous, and killed my self esteem whenever there was an active physical activity that would be present. I would just either sit out or pretend I was sick.

As the years progressed, I found that I wasn't having as frequent sweating spells that I once did as in high school, but whenever I was around tense or uncomfortable situations it would come back twice as severe. I tried to ignore and avoid certain events where I would be subject to a sweat attack, but life is unpredictable and having a problem like that is hard to explain to anyone why you can't go out to certain places. I thought I could just put it off and it would soon just go away with time.

It wasn't until I tired to serve in a restaurant that I found out how life altering this problem could be. My first days training as a waiter in a popular local diner were a couple of the most shameful days of my life. Even before I clocked into work, I had very large sweat circles under and around my arms. People would immediately focus their attention on the excess sweat and would try to be courteous to me, but I knew it was a disaster.

On my last day of training, the manager came up to me and asked why I sweat so much. I stood there with my head down in total silence and embarrassment knowing that I couldn't give an adequate answer. The look that she gave me was a very familiar one. It was a look of slight disgust and pity. I didn't get the job, but it ended up working for the best and I found something else that was better. However, the point still remains on how damaging excessive sweating problems can get.

Today it has calmed down quite considerably from the days in the beginning. Every once in a while I'll still have occasions where I'll be lightly perspiring in tense environments from time to time, but it's nothing like how it used to be. Thank God.

I am a student studying humanities, media arts, and film. Ever since I can remember I've had sweating problems. Living with excessive sweating can be a huge pain and difficult to talk about.

Somehow, whenever I come across the word Botox, images of aging celebrities trying to salvage their youth are conjured in my mind. Botox is closely associated with ironing out wrinkles and cosmetic surgery for the rich and famous, but do you know that Botox can also be used to treat excessive sweating problems?

Botox, which is actually the commercial name for Botulinum toxin is also used to treat excessive sweating problems or hiperhidrosis. It has been shown that injecting the Botulinum toxin into you can stop your sweat glands from producing sweat for weeks or even months on end.

Usually Botox for sweating is used by injecting onto the armpit area. This treatment blocks the chemical signals from the nerve that stimulate the sweat glands. The excessive sweating ceases when the sweat glands do not receive these signals.

Using Botox for sweating can be very effective as proven by clinical studies. Usually patients will notice a significant reduction in armpit sweating within 4 weeks of their treatment. However, Botox is not a cure as the symptoms will return gradually after a period of time. When the sweating symptoms return, patients will have to undergo their follow up treatment again.

Although Botox is effective for sweating problems, it can potentially cost you an arm and a leg to have this procedure done on a regular basis. There are also some people who used Botox for their sweating palms. It was reported that it is not as effective and can inflict a great deal of pain.

Remember to always consult your physician first before seeking Botox treatment for your sweating issues.

There are also cheaper and effective methods to stop your excessive sweating condition. One such method involves a simple 3-step plan that can be done in the comfort of your own home. It is reported that this all-natural treatment discovered by a hiperhidrosis sufferer, Mike Ramsey, can help to control sweating within 2 weeks.

This highly practical treatment which is outlined in his e-Book, ‘Stop Sweating and Start Living’ has been proven effective for 96% of his 7,200 customers. And for the record, this safe treatment is less expensive and less painful as compared to using Botox for your sweating concerns.
